The Replicating Pods are giant, green creatures that only appear in the episode "Snatch." These pods will eat and then replicate a victim once the prey has fallen asleep. The pods do not speak and will follow you wherever you go. Pods can't be killed by lasers or similar weapons, but drinking coffee in order to stay awake is a method of not being eaten. Though, a large supply of this beverage is needed, as these pods will patiently wait until they can strike.

In "Snatch", Space Ghost interviews Steven Wright, but shortly after the two spark up a conversation, Moltar warns the crew about a large blob that has covered ghost planet and multiple pods have made their way into the studio. Once these creatures linger onto the set, Space Ghost begins to blast the pods with his power bands, but is unsuccessful in doing so, as the pods only grow larger. Eventually, Space Ghost, Moltar and Zorak run off the set in hopes of finding coffee around the studio, leaving Steven Wright on the set with a nearby pod. Soon after the trio leave, Steven is eaten by the pod as we see Space Ghost, Zorak and Moltar drinking coffee at a table. After a large amount of time has passed, Space Ghost assumes that the coffee is all out, but Zorak claims he found more in an orange container. Space Ghost is shocked, telling the mantis that the coffee he found was decaf. Eventually, the trio falls asleep, leaving the pods to eat and replicate them all. The episode ends with the pods moving closer towards the crew, opening their mouths and roaring as the screen cuts to black. It is unknown what truly happened to the characters, as the original ending has not been released, due to the script for the last scene being sold to an unknown person on eBay shortly after the episode originally aired.
